TCM Presents Classic Disney Movies on Sundays!

I’m feeling a bit nostalgic.  I was the kid that sat at the TV tray every Sunday night anxiously waiting for the Wonderful World of Disney.  I can remember that my mom would put the food on my tray and I wouldn’t even notice so it would be cold by the time the show was over.  I didn’t care.  I had priorities.

Then my grandmother would take me to the Disney movies on Fridays because our school got our half day.  Sometimes we would be the only ones in the theater.  Drinks came in a 7 oz. cup without a lid an no ice.  Coke never tasted so good.

You can bet I’m so excited that TCM (Turner Classic Movies) is playing some of the old Disney favorites on Sunday afternoons.  Starting this week you can find…

GNO Challenge! RAK and Santa Hats!!

Photobucket

What’s a GNO…? On Twitter it’s our Tuesday Night Girls’ Night Out!  We have a topic each week to talk about it, which takes up about 1/3 of the time, and then we talk about food and girl stuff.  This past week we focussed on Random Acts of Kindness.  or RAK.  Our challenge was to come up with something to do over the holidays.

My RAK started before the challenge began. My addiction to photoshopping my head on other things gave me the idea to offer to photoshop Santa Hats on people’s avatars. My daughter (“but mom, I’m an artist”) is a graphic design major and is helping me if I have to do Mom stuff.   I put a post on my site on Dec 1. I’ve been busy on Twitter and done some fabulous friends like…

OK, so Jennifer wanted antlers.   But then again, she would…

I’m here until the holidays.  My daughter is having her gallbladder out on the 13th and so there isn’t much else we will be doing.  This is something fun I can do and hopefully bring some ho ho ho into people’s day.

Email me at linneyshvede at gmail dot com if you would like one done ( or @LindaSPPreppy on twitter).  Any pic. See my post if you want to see Sawyer from LOST know more.  And if you can’t reach me and want a hat @JaimieH is doing her own version on Twitter too!  Lots of elves our there!

RAK…makes people feel good, makes you feel good.  Try it!
