For whatever reason when we got home today, The Real Housewives of New York was on, marathon style, and being exhausted from a day in the pouring rain at a horse show, I couldn’t move on the couch, fell asleep and had visions of spoiled, rich, bratty women in my dreams. I’m glad I don’t know them. I love to watch it for the comic effect and to see what a $16000 handbag looks like (actually like one I saw at Marshalls).
I’m more interested in real families in real situations like the families taking the UTurn Challenge.First Tech are hosting a competition where four families compete to turn around their financial lives. All four families are working with a financial coach and working to save money and get out of debt – there’s a ton of great info/advice there for people to use in their lives. You can also ask questions on their blog posts. And the winner will win $10K! and probably not spend it on a handbag!
That’s something I can relate too. See people in real life situations, maybe compare to your own! Sometimes you need a little foo-foon your life, but sometimes coming back down to reality can put things in perspective!

I use to watch the Real Housewives of Orange County. I have never watched any of the other seasons.
