In a city far, far away
there lived a girl with two feet
that couldn’t stand the pain of
standing
all day long
and she fought the evil
shoe monster trying to find
the perfect pair that
would keep
her comfortable all day long
at BlogHer…
I’m working on mah comfortable shoes, and wouldn’t you know, I picked the hard part to begin with.
Seriously, getting rid of wrinkles and grey hairs would have been easier than finding shoes I can wear all day, or maybe day and night. After a long day my feet scream loud enough to be heard in the next county.
For realz

My daughter surprised me with a pair of Chacos that SHE I paid for with HER MY money and I’m wearing them around the house to get used to them…*so far, great* but they aren’t exactly the Social Starlet Partay material. And Suave wants me to look the part…my shoes must look as good as mah hair! You know? I KNOW!

My FitFlops came in a size too big, so must return and get the next size down, *word to the wise…* but WOW they feel amazing on the feet!

I have a great pair of Clarks, and they are uber comfortable too.

Of course no wardrobe would be complete without the Crocs du jour and they work perfectly for evening too…I could just grab few more pair and be the Croc gal for the weekend.
*oh, my can her shoes BE any cuter*
So I will be looking at any one or any combo or anything I find between now and then. Can’t do heels, this is it! I’m looking for comfy, how about you?

I am going with both sometimes comfy sometimes kill me now because my feet hurt but my shoes are hot style LOL
I’m a slave to fashion. And what’s a few numb toes when it comes to looking good!
Yeah, I am not really any kind of fashion diva…but MY these are sporty! My feet suffer all summer long in my flip-flops! I refuse to not wear them though- I look forward to flip-flops all winter long. I just rely on my Topricin foot cream to help me through it! It is awesome and feels great. It’s natural and helps my little ugly feet with calluses and dryness. Thank God for bystanders
LOL Okay- so I may just have to invest in a pair that looks great and feels good? Hmmm…what a concept huh! smilinggreenmom
I’m pretty much a flip-flop girl in the summer and I’ll definitely be wearing a pair or two at BlogHer! I also bought a super comfy pair of sandals from Skechers last time I was the States that I will wear while sightseeing in Chicago, but I am bringing one pair of heeled sandals to wear with my party dresses!
I may have more shoe options that dresses and pants, just to be on the *safe side*…sounds like LONG days!
