I love that Barnes and Noble has set up downloadable e-readers for your PC, Mac, Blackberry, or iPhone. I can take my books everywhere I go now, and even on my small phone, catch a few chapters when I’m in the carpool line, at the doctor’s office, or waiting for twitter to go back online.

No reader necessary! If you have been dreaming of the money to buy a Kindle , dream no longer. Books are around $10 each, with many bestsellers less than that. New releases are available so you can buy your reads when you want them. Pre-orders are available too!
There are over 700,000 titles available at bn.com. I asked if textbooks were a possiblilty in the future, and yes they are looking at ways to expand this service! Cool for a mom of 2 college kids.

I tried really really hard to read on my blackberry and even my Palm TX, but I just couldn’t do it. I ended up getting the kindle but I got the first version bc it was only $199!
I don’t mind it on my Tour which has a nicer trackball than my Curve had. The print is the perfect size… Glad you are enjoying the Kindle! I think they are great too! Several other companies are coming out with e-readers now. Lots to choose from now!
