Oh no it’s not just kitty rap. It’s one of the videos created to promote the contest going on between 2 towns.
Boring vs. Normal was created to showcase people achieving new things with a laptop that they didn’t think they could do. Started 7/27, Boring, Oregon and Normal, Illinois create new videos showing their progress posted every week at BoringvsNormal.com. Viewers are invited to watch the videos and cast votes for the town they think achieved more that week. Contest ends September 13, 2009 at noon and Toshiba will announce the winning town September 14, 2009 and award the winning town’s schools a technology upgrade.
There’s still time to get in and vote!! And at least see some funny videos.
