Even if you do have that under control, the quest to organize is never ending. I have hired people in the past to help me on certain projects, but money isn’t flowing like it used to. It’s me and the kids…and we need a kick in the booty.

How do you enter the challenge?
Choose an area of your house, big or small, that is in need or organizing.
Take a before picture (don’t be shy, we are all in this together!) and after picture.
Come up with and chronicle your organizational process. We are interested in creativity, smart thinking and encourage you to work with what you have on hand. We will be providing tips from experts throughout the next few weeks so you can get inspiration and ideas.
We will be judging not on the size of the project. Cleaning your entire house isn’t a for sure win (though you would be my hero); instead we will be judging on how creative and smart you are about the process.

The timeline?
Sign the pledge to be rid of clutter by adding your name and URL to the Mr. MckLinky between September 7 – 18th.
All entries must be received by September 21, 2009 to participate in the challenge.
The five finalists will be announced on September 24th.
Public Voting will begin then thru the 29th and the winner will be announced on the 30th.

Ok, I really would like to do this for my “office,” which actually has become the last frontier for throwing stuff we don’t know what to do with at the moment. I will think about it today and hopefully come back and sign up later!
