I know color coding is one tool that is highly recommended for staying organized.   Here are some tips to on how to make this process work for your home or office.

Quick Organizing Tip 1: Color Code
Brought to you by Eileen Roth a national spearker, Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and author of Organizing for Dummies.

Whether it is for home files or a business, organizing children’s rooms,
or student’s school materials ;a simple major organizing idea is to color
code.

  • Colored file folders for files or student materials help retrieve
information quickly. Also use colored binder dividers.
  • Colored notebooks and book covers by subject help children find class
materials faster in their locker, dorm room or backpack.
  • Colored bins help children learn to put items in the right place.
  • Choosing a separate color for each family member on the family calendar
helps everyone know who has what activity and when it is.
  • If the calendar is yours, color code by activity: for business use one
color for appointments, one for calls, one for projects, etc.

Thanks Eileen!  Voting will begin soon.  Have you registered your blog for the challenge?
