SGIBIA – Otterbox provides great protection for your cell phone

Who drops their cell phone?  Show of hands?

OK, that’s too many hands, people can’t read the blog…

It’s a problem.  We are juggling babies, groceries, mail, briefcases, and carrying on important conversations or TWEETING at the same time!  It’s tough.

I was sent the Otterbox Phone Protector and one for my iPod too.  LOVE THEM.  You can choose a suit of armor (the Defender) that protects your device with polycarbonate shell and silicone case combined.  Or you can choose the powerful Impact silicone case alone.  I have tried both, and this product is far better than any case I’ve seen before.

When I got my Blackberry Tour from the people at RIM, I knew I had to get a case on it fast.  I ordered a new Otterbox Impact.  I was concerned about buying it from someone other than the Otterbox site, because I had heard of some issues with an earlier model.  When I contacted Otterbox, they said to let them know of any problems I had.  I had read in forums that their customer service is AWESOME!  I ordered it from Amazon.com because it was much cheaper.  The only issue I had was the stickers on the screen protector did not come off easily.  Actually I’m not a fan of screen protectors any way, so that was fine.

Now I’m happy, my Tour is in good shape and I’m an OTTERBOX Lifer!

SGIBIA, how about you? Anything you loved enough to buy again????

I could definitely use an Otterbox – I have dropped my cell phone in a bucket of aquarium/fishtank water (**luckily it dried out) – and then another time I broke a cell phone (flip) with my “kung fu” grip… I think I need an Otterbox! :)
