Okay…first of all you should google how long to keep each type of make-up b/c it isn’t good for you to have expired makeup. Second, if there is make-up that you only use for special occasions (i.e smoky eyes
) then that is the make-up that should be stored in the drawer. I have my daily make-up bag in the bathroom that contains foundation, concealer, my usual eye color, mascara and lip gloss. Then I have a much smaller bag that goes in my purse that has a compact, lip gloss (lip stick) for touch ups throughout the day.
Also, if the big drawer upstairs gets too disorganized for you get one of those Rubbermaid three drawer little doobies (they are small like for office supplies) and separate the make-up by category to reduce any time scrounging for the particular thing you are looking for.
